Interesting tactic from wingnut Republican candidate Patricia Phillips.
In a recent mailer, she calls out [Virginia Democratic State Sen. Mark] Herring for not thanking veterans -using a picture of a SOVIET officer. Look closely and you'll even see the "CCCP" in one of the medals on his chest.Uh, what? Here's the mailer:
Personally, I'm glad our Democratic incumbent in the district has better things to do than thank old-line communists veterans. But if Patricia Phillips wants to, she can knock herself out.
